Whalaska

Whalaska is a rare Water/Ice dual-type, entry #151 in the Paldeck — right at home in the wet and a natural answer to Fire. It sits in the XL size class. In the field guide's words: “When it sleeps, Pals often mistake it for a drifting piece of ice and rest on it. Although gentle and unwilling to push them away when awake, it feels quietly stressed by the intrusion on its personal space.”

In a scrap, Whalaska brings around 100 Attack, 110 Defense and 105 HP — it soaks damage well and makes a sturdy front-liner. Back at base it earns its keep with Cooling (Lv 6) and Watering (Lv 5), so it's as useful at home as it is out on the trail.

Defeat or capture one and you can expect drops like Aquatic Pal Fluids, Coralum Ore, Decayed Ancient Relic, and Dormant Ancient Relic.
