Palworld Raid Bosses and Bounties in 1.0: Slabs, Summons, and Tokens
Jul 18, 2026
How Palworld 1.0's raid slabs and revamped bounties work ÔÇö every summonable boss, what Ultra slabs do, and what bounty tokens are actually worth.
Palworld 1.0's endgame hands you two very different reasons to pick a fight with something enormous. Raid bosses are the deliberate kind ÔÇö you build the altar, assemble the slab, and ring the bell yourself. Bounties are the automatic kind ÔÇö 1.0 reworked them so the alpha and field bosses you're already hunting pay out tokens with a permanent upside. They're separate systems that get lumped together constantly, so here's each one on its own terms.
Raid bosses: slabs and the Summoning Altar
The loop is simple: build a Summoning Altar, assemble a boss's slab from its fragments, then slot the finished slab into the altar to call the boss. Five raid bosses are on the summoning roster in the 1.0 data:
- Bellanoir ÔÇö summoned with Bellanoir's Slab.
- Bellanoir Libero ÔÇö summoned with Bellanoir Libero's Slab.
- Blazamut Ryu ÔÇö summoned with the Blazamut Ryu Slab.
- Xenolord ÔÇö summoned with the Xenolord Slab.
- Hartalis ÔÇö summoned with the Hartalis Slab.
Four of the five go a tier further. The Bellanoir Libero Ultra Slab, Blazamut Ryu Ultra Slab, Xenolord Ultra Slab, and Hartalis Ultra Slab each summon a far harder version of the boss ÔÇö "inconceivably powerful," as the in-game text puts it. Slot one only when you mean it.
Bounties: tokens for the bosses you're already fighting
The bounty system got a proper rework in 1.0, and it's bigger than most folks realize: defeating alpha and field bosses grants per-Pal bounty tokens, and the 1.0 game data contains roughly 100 distinct token items.
These aren't vendor trash. Here's the Nitewing Bounty Token's description, verbatim from the game data: "Proof of defeating Nitewing, Wings of the Firmament ÔÇö simply possessing it permanently increases the stats of the Pals in your team." Read that again ÔÇö simply possessing it. Beat Nitewing, keep the token, and your team is permanently a little stronger.
Community documentation fills in what the tooltips don't spell out. It's well-tested, but file it under community-reported rather than confirmed:
- Players report the permanent bonuses are elemental damage increases.
- Your first kill of a bounty target is also said to award an Ancient Technology Point.
- Human bounty targets posted by Intel Dealers reportedly pay out a Successful Bounty Token instead of a per-Pal token.
- Tokens can reportedly be traded for rewards, with gold, manuscripts, and fruits showing up in community-compiled reward lists.
As for where that trading happens: community guides ÔÇö Game8 and the community wiki among them ÔÇö point to the Vigilante Bounty Officer, an NPC found in settlements (Fisherman's Point is the most-cited spot), and they note it's the Successful Bounty Tokens from human targets that get spent there, while the per-Pal tokens work just by sitting in your bag. We'll firm all of that up on the item pages as our own testing catches up.
Getting raid-ready
Ultra raids are endgame in the fullest sense, so stack the deck before you start burning slabs: push to the new cap with our fast level 80 route, flip on the boss layer of the interactive map to plan bounty sweeps between summons, and let those tokens quietly do their work in the background.
Before you slot that first slab, swing by the 1.0 tier lists and make sure the team behind you is the right one.
