Menasting

Menasting is a legendary Dark/Ground dual-type, entry #099 in the Paldeck — a creature of the night that likes to play mind games. It sits in the L size class and is a night owl, most active after dark. In the field guide's words: “Being made of pure energy, its insides are completely hollow. This Pal crams still-living prey into its hollow body, where it absorbs them. Hellish screams of pain can often be heard coming from inside this Pal.”

In a scrap, Menasting brings around 100 Attack, 130 Defense and 100 HP — it soaks damage well and makes a sturdy front-liner. Back at base it earns its keep with Lumbering (Lv 3) and Mining (Lv 5), so it's as useful at home as it is out on the trail.

Defeat or capture one and you can expect drops like Medium Pal Soul and Venom Gland. It also plays into special breeding combos — pair it up in the breeding calculator to see what hatches.
