In the field guide's words: “It used to be considered an emissary of the Winter God, and thus was not hunted by people. However, after witnesses observed one lose its footing on the ice, its reverence faded, and it quite literally slid into the role of a workhorse.”

In a scrap, Univolt Cryst brings around 110 Attack, 110 Defense and 80 HP — it's a balanced pick that won't let you down. Back at base it earns its keep with Cooling (Lv 6) and Lumbering (Lv 3), so it's as useful at home as it is out on the trail.
