Palworld Ancient Relic Recycler: Turn Your Relic Hoard into Endgame Loot
Jul 18, 2026
The Ancient Relic Recycler turns your relic pile into Paloxite, manuals, implants, and Skill Fruits. Here's the tech-74 build cost and how to run it.
If your storage chests are hollering for mercy under a pile of ancient relics, 1.0 finally has an answer. The Ancient Relic Recycler takes the relics you've been hoarding since your first dungeon and turns them into materials you'll actually use at the level cap.
What It Does
The Ancient Relic Recycler is a 1.0 production building that converts Ancient Civilization Relics into useful endgame materials. Load it up, keep it powered and staffed, and it quietly works through your backlog while you're off doing something more fun.
Unlocking and Building It
The recycler unlocks at technology level 74. The build cost is steep, but it pays for itself:
Power and a Working Pal
The machine needs two things running before it does anything: base power ÔÇö a generator with an electricity-producing Pal on it ÔÇö and a working Pal assigned to the recycler itself. As for which work suitability that job uses, community documentation consistently lists Handiwork, and player reports back that up; we're still confirming it against the game files ourselves, but it's safe to plan around. A Handiwork heavyweight like Anubis is a natural fit, and if your base roster is getting crowded, the workforce planner will sort out who covers what.
What to Feed It
Inputs are simple: your relic hoard plus World Tree Holy Water. As the name suggests, you'll want the World Tree opened up to keep that stocked. The relics themselves come in five rarity tiers ÔÇö from decayed and dormant up through glistening, glowing, and gorgeous.
Here's the useful part, with the usual caveat attached: community testing suggests the reward pools stay broadly similar across relic tiers. That's community-tested, not confirmed ÔÇö but if it holds, there's no reason to sit on your low-tier relics waiting for a better use. Feed the machine whatever you've got and keep the hopper full.
What Comes Out
Outputs include Paloxite, implants, work and skill manuals, and Skill Fruits ÔÇö the stuff late-game builds actually run on. Instead of one more chest of relics gathering dust, you get a steady drip of upgrade material without leaving base.
And there's one more reason to keep it fed: players consistently report relic recycling as a strong late-game XP source. We haven't measured the numbers ourselves, so treat any figures you see quoted as estimates ÔÇö but "run your relics through the recycler" shows up in nearly every 1.0 leveling conversation right now, and the logic checks out: it's XP for materials you were already sitting on.
A Quick Setup Checklist
- Hit technology level 74 and gather the build materials
- Place the recycler, wire up generator power, and assign your working Pal
- Stock it with relics of any tier plus World Tree Holy Water
- Come back for Paloxite, manuals, implants, and Skill Fruits
Once the machine's humming, put it to work on the bigger picture: level toward the cap with our road to 80, keep the Holy Water flowing with the World Tree guide, and staff it all cleanly with the workforce planner.
