Palworld v1.0.1 Patch Notes: Four Fixes, Zero Data Changes

Jul 18, 2026

Palworld v1.0.1 (July 15) fixes save-data loss, a lingering Burning bug, and two console issues. We diffed the whole build ÔÇö zero game-data changes.

Pocketpair shipped Palworld's launch-week hotfix on July 15, 2026, five days after 1.0 arrived. It's small and it's surgical: four fixes, no balance pass, and ÔÇö we verified this ourselves ÔÇö not one change to the game data. Here's the quick rundown, and what it means for your save.

What v1.0.1 fixes

  • Save-data loss ÔÇö fixes an issue where save data could be lost after certain operations. This is the headliner, and the reason to update sooner rather than later.
  • Lingering Burning ÔÇö the Burning status effect no longer sticks around after touching a Campfire.
  • PlayStation title-screen save error ÔÇö a PlayStation-only fix for a save error at the title screen.
  • Xbox fast-travel freeze ÔÇö an Xbox-only fix for a freeze of roughly 30 seconds after fast travel.

That's the entire list. The save-loss fix is described only as covering "certain operations," so the notes won't tell you exactly what was eating saves ÔÇö but a save fix landing five days after launch is exactly the kind of quiet, quick patching you want to see in week one. Nothing to do on your end beyond letting the update install.

One patch, two names

Depending on where you look, this update wears two labels. Pocketpair calls it v1.0.1, while console and store listings show the build label 1.100.619. Same patch ÔÇö if your console says 1.100.619, you're current.

Zero game-data changes ÔÇö and how we know

Patch day usually means re-checking every number on the site. Not this time. We re-extracted the full v1.0.1 game build and diffed it against 1.0.0: zero game-data changes. No stat tweaks, no spawn shuffles, no adjusted drop rates, no breeding changes hiding under a bug-fix label ÔÇö every stat, spawn, drop, and breeding combo on the site is exactly current. That covers everything 1.0 itself shook up, too: the new Pals, the Mutation breeding layer, Awakening ÔÇö all of it untouched by this hotfix.

Practically speaking, that means your breeding plans still hold, the tier lists didn't move, and if something feels different in-game, it's one of the four fixes above ÔÇö or your imagination. When a patch does move numbers, this is where you'll see it first; we'll run the same diff on every build Pocketpair ships.

What's next

As of July 18, Pocketpair hasn't announced a v1.0.2 or a post-launch content roadmap. Given the pace the studio kept all through early access, plenty of players expect the next patch won't be far off ÔÇö but that's tea-leaf reading, not news, and we'll holler the moment there's something real to report.
